1097: Completely derailed...or not...

I thought I would have the power to resume lecturing on historical materialism. I carefully read the latest lecture. That was 1096. A clear discourse, but at this moment I can't connect to it.

When I wrote that lecture, I already had the next one in mind, but now there only is a void. It is weird to experience how the mind works in my personal condition at this moment.

My mind has completely lost contact with the theme. Yet lecture 1096 offers me one thesis, which may even lead us to the conclusion of this project.

Originally the historic materialist interpretation was for Marx a hypothetical one, not some kind of law of nature, but given the social-political situation of his time, the masses of exploited people,

the poverty, the social inequality, and the huge gap between the rich and the poor, his historical interpretation of the situation and its origins was integrated into direct social and political action.

And here comes the thesis from lecture 1096, that started up my brain again: there is no difference between a religion and an ideology. They both begin with their truth and then force the world into the mold of that truth,

What doesn't fit in, well... many options....it doesn't exist...is an aberration of the truth....should be removed immediately.... is an offense to the truth, so kill it...and so on.

It makes me think of an anecdote I once read about Hegel. He invented this dialectic trio: thesis <---> antithesis ---> synthesis.

Someone explained to Hegel that in physics when you put some materials together, they really don't synthesize into something new. Hegel's response.... Bad luck for physics.

So, if you assume that religion and ideologies are equivalent thought systems we can say that Christianity has its bible, Islam has its Quran and so Socialism / Communism has its "Communist Manifesto" from 1848.

And now I have reached a point while writing this lecture that I get the feeling that my brain has restarted again and freed itself from a weird state of sedation.

So let me continue, while, when typing the few first lines of this lecture, I really had the feeling...this is not going to work....I'll tell the folks...sorry wait till next time....but restarting my brain works as a kind of therapy :-)

Ok, then this Manifest. Allow me to let Wikipedia do the work for me here:

The Communist Manifesto, originally the Manifesto of the Communist Party, is a political pamphlet written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, commissioned by the Communist League and originally published in London in 1848.

The text is the first and most systematic attempt by Marx and Engels to codify for widespread consumption the core historical materialist idea that, as stated in the text's opening words,

"the history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles", in which social classes are defined by the relationship of people to the means of production.

Here a in origin new approach and interpretation of history from a materialist point of view changes into a political ideology, which scares the hell out of the capitalists.

In other words, let's have a look at this Manifesto in the next lecture. Amazing, in writing this lecture I literally restarted my brain..... I am really very grateful to you all.

Thank you for your attention again....

The Discussion

[13:15] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): oh good!!!

[13:15] Lecturehall: 2023-11-28  [23:15]  bergfrau Apfelbaum enters

[13:16] .: Beertje :. (beertje.beaumont): Thank you Herman

[13:16] herman Bergson: Bergie ! :-)

[13:16] Max Chatnoir: Thank you for sharing the resurrection of your brain with us, Herman!

[13:16] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): Certain things in life do cause us to restart thinking ..

[13:16] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): hey bergie

[13:16] herman Bergson: That is REALLY the right description, Max

[13:16] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako):

[13:16] herman Bergson: The train is on the tracks again.....

[13:16] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): aaa yes1

[13:16] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako) whispers: !

[13:16] bergfrau Apfelbaum: halliehellos BeertjeGemmaLukkieMaxBejiita Herman :-) sorry i am late ..  Our visitor has just left

[13:17] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): hi Bergie

[13:17] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): ahha

[13:17] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako):

[13:17] herman Bergson: Ahh...you didn't kill him, Bergie? :-))

[13:17] Max Chatnoir: Hi, Bergie!

[13:17] bergfrau Apfelbaum: yes lol

[13:17] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): lol

[13:18] bergfrau Apfelbaum: they stayed longer than expected:-)

[13:18] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): but i told u to spike his tea with carbon disulfide!

[13:18] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): loool

[13:18] herman Bergson: Efficiency first...

[13:19] herman Bergson: Nevertheless....this Manifesto is in interesting pamflet...

[13:19] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): the times as you said

[13:19] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): ah, seems so for sure

[13:19] herman Bergson: We'll dig into it next lecture

[13:19] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako):

[13:19] herman Bergson: None of us has read it of course and yet every capitalist is scared of it

[13:20] herman Bergson: Sorry....I read it...

[13:20] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): I read some of it

[13:20] herman Bergson: an A for you Gemma....again :-)))

[13:20] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): I cant recall why

[13:20] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate) GIGGLES!!

[13:20] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): ...LOL...

[13:20] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): must have been a class

[13:20] herman Bergson: OK...then a B :-))

[13:21] herman Bergson: Bejiita overloaded its computer again...

[13:21] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): yep

[13:21] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): strange, random crashing on this computer too, maybee its something at LL then

[13:22] herman Bergson: yes yes..that is the system...blame the others :-)

[13:22] Max Chatnoir: I wonder if it was fear that the working classes would realize how much power they could have if they worked together.

[13:22] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): and now cant see names

[13:22] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): reloading

[13:22] herman Bergson: yes yes Max....

[13:23] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): they finally did for a while

[13:23] herman Bergson: Just look at the US and how they killed the Unions as much as possible...

[13:23] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): and are starting to realize it again now

[13:23] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): here in US that is

[13:23] Max Chatnoir: Yes.

[13:23] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): now i see u

[13:23] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): but they are vermin

[13:23] herman Bergson: Indeed Gemma....revival of unions in the US...Amazon....for instance

[13:24] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): unions yes

[13:24] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): well the best was the car unions

[13:24] herman Bergson: who are vermin Gemma?

[13:24] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): union people

[13:24] herman Bergson: Ahh yes indeed

[13:24] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): according to you know who

[13:24] herman Bergson: Just read your words Gemma....most significant...

[13:24] Max Chatnoir: Right.

[13:25] herman Bergson: You call the union people 'vermin'....

[13:25] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): more scary than before

[13:25] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): before

[13:25] herman Bergson: I don't mean you personally..

[13:25] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): i was just quoting you know who

[13:25] herman Bergson: but this is a major fascist trick....

[13:25] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): there is a massive strike here in sweden for over a month now  agaist Tesla and  Elon Musk and his refusal against worker unions, the thing is if we would let our gard down here then this means the entire so called Swedish model will fall and its now free for EVERY other company to do the same

[13:25] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): yep!!!!!!!!!

[13:25] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): so we have to stand up for that

[13:26] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): or the entire model will fail

[13:26] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): I saw that Bej

[13:26] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): ah

[13:26] herman Bergson: call your opponent a disgusting animal, dehumanize him and this feel free to kill him

[13:26] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate) GIGGLES!!

[13:26] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): ...LOL...

[13:26] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): and you know who is calling us also fascist

[13:26] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): omg

[13:26] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): OMG!!!

[13:27] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): no brains what so ever

[13:27] Max Chatnoir: Rachel Maddow said she thinks that he wants to make the term so confusing that it loses all meaning.

[13:27] .: Beertje :. (beertje.beaumont): who are you talking about Gemma?

[13:27] herman Bergson: Serious thing BEjiita!

[13:27] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): correct~!!!!!!

[13:27] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): Ok tesla might be a future bringer but now he seems just like another greedy American, here in sweden we follow Swedish laws and rules, not American laws but that is what he think he can get through with

[13:27] herman Bergson: Mister T, Beertje...the prime American Fascist ever

[13:27] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): mr Musk

[13:27] .: Beertje :. (beertje.beaumont): ah ok:)

[13:28] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): Musk is being forced to revisit a lot

[13:28] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): he was in Israel yesterday

[13:28] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): swallowing pride and words

[13:28] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): ok

[13:28] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): yes i don't like to say his name Beertje so i call him you know who

[13:29] herman Bergson: This Musk individual is THE example how people with money mean that they are the real ones who rule this world

[13:29] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): yes maybe

[13:29] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): yes and the sad thing about him is that He has done a lot of good also for people

[13:29] Max Chatnoir: :-)

[13:29] herman Bergson: And to some extend they do....buy every senator and congressman in the US ...

[13:30] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): true, as soon they go over a certain spot they think they are better and mightier then even the law + of course everyone else

[13:30] herman Bergson: Einstein did too....but was a horrible person to others

[13:30] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): true

[13:30] herman Bergson: I have read

[13:30] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): there have been others like him

[13:30] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): in history

[13:31] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): regarding Mush its very sad cause he brought many promising things including Tesla and SpaceX but now he has ruined his reputation by behaving like he do in my eyes

[13:31] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): right

[13:31] herman Bergson: Even Hitler was kind to children.....

[13:31] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): that is what i mean bej

[13:31] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): same like what he did with Twitter even i never liked the platform

[[13:31] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): well he bought it for a reason and now you know who is back on!!

[13:31] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): buy it up, fire everyone, be the company dictator

[13:31] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate) GIGGLES!!

[13:31] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): ...LOL...

[13:32] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): what he wanted

[13:32] herman Bergson: People overestimate themselves easily when they are successful in one area...

[13:32] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): T is back on there OOO NOOO!

[13:32] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): yep

[13:32] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): filling it with sewage again

[13:32] herman Bergson: everybody applauds you when you come in...

[13:32] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): sigh!

[13:32] herman Bergson: Then they think....they will applaud me on everything I do...

[13:32] Max Chatnoir: I guess you start believing that all of your opinions are truth.

[13:33] herman Bergson: exactly Max

[13:33] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): hmm

[13:33] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): yes

[13:33] Max Chatnoir: Well, T said he could shoot somebody and get away with it.

[13:33] herman Bergson: and one of the causes is....

[13:33] herman Bergson: you are the big BOSS...

[13:33] herman Bergson: so hardly anyone dares to contradict you....

[13:33] herman Bergson: THAT ruins the brain

[13:33] Max Chatnoir: And the money is really influential.

[13:33] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): yes

[13:34] Max Chatnoir: You don't want to piss him off because then he won't give you any of it.

[13:34] Max Chatnoir: There needs to be a way to discourage that.

[13:34] herman Bergson: Or tyou lose your well paid jib...

[13:34] herman Bergson: job

[13:34] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): scary yes

[13:35] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako) whispers: yes!

[13:35] herman Bergson: That is what we are......human being...

[13:35] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): we seem to have a greedy gene

[13:35] herman Bergson: If it really was a god who created us, he really deliveered alousy job

[13:35] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): and a might hunger gene also

[13:35] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): big issue

[13:36] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): god needs to debug humanity for sure

[13:36] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): cause there are bugs in many of us

[13:36] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): too many of us

[13:36] herman Bergson: if HE would have had a better computer Bejiita....

[13:36] herman Bergson: but there was no Bill Gates in paradise :-))

[13:36] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): im not sure even Unreal 5 /c++ ect can fix this issue however

[13:36] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): not even the failsafe rust langiage

[13:37] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): even i wish it was possible

[13:37] herman Bergson: There you have it....end of story :-)

[13:37] herman Bergson: We are stuck with what we have...

[13:37] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): to just be able to stop all bad things happening now and make it ok

[13:37] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): or something like that

[13:38] herman Bergson: Well, dear friends....

[13:38] herman Bergson: one thing I can tell you at least....

[13:38] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): indeed what u said before, most people are ok but there are still too many bad ones out there

[13:39] herman Bergson: my brain is alive and running again...and I really mean it...

[13:39] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): YAY! (yay!)

[13:39] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): good

[13:39] Max Chatnoir: I am very happy to hear that!

[13:39] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): (jumphugs Herman)

[13:39] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): mmmm

[13:39] .: Beertje :. (beertje.beaumont): welcome back Herman

[13:39] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): good ur ok agan!

[13:39] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako):

[13:39] herman Bergson: Indeed Beertje....a Welcome BACK......

[13:39] .: Beertje :. (beertje.beaumont): yes

[13:39] herman Bergson: That is what I feel now indeed

[13:39] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): :-)

[13:40] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako):

[13:40] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): looking forward to Thursday hope i make it

[13:40] bergfrau Apfelbaum: yay

[13:40] herman Bergson: I'll be there Gemma....DEO VOLENTE :-)

[13:41] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako):

[13:41] herman Bergson: although I am not religious, but someone  should do the job :-))

[13:41] .: Beertje :. (beertje.beaumont):

[[13:41] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): hmm agree for sure, as said I cant debug humanity, i dont have that power

[13:41] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate) GIGGLES!!

[13:41] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): ...LOL...

[13:41] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): to wipe out greed and might hunger

[13:41] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): even i wish i could

[13:42] herman Bergson: yes Bejiita...sadly enough....

[13:42] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): and also wars

[13:42] herman Bergson: So let me thank you all again....

[13:42] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): well

[13:42] herman Bergson: Class dismissed...

[13:42] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): Marx wanted that he said

[13:42] .: Beertje :. (beertje.beaumont): Thank you for this lecture Herman

[13:42] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): ♥ Thank Youuuuuuuuuu!! ♥

[13:42] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako):

[13:42] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): good one indeed Herman

[13:42] bergfrau Apfelbaum: thank you Herman and class:-)

[13:42] herman Bergson: Sorry...

[13:43] herman Bergson: what did Max to have said?

[[13:43] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): get rid of hunger

[13:43] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): aaa yes

[13:43] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): anothergood thing

[13:43] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): and greed

[13:43] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): ....

[13:43] Particle Physicist Bejiita (bejiita.imako): yes

[13:43] herman Bergson: oh  my...yes...just to know that there is enough food on this earth to feed everyone...!

[13:43] Gemma (gemma.cleanslate): bye for now
